COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Not for the average beer drinker. When I give this to friends not familiar with sour ales I describe it as almost a wine/cider taste with yeast carbonation. This can be paired with all kinds of crazy dishes and cooked with to make it work. Unfortunately it’s a bit on the pricey side but well worth it to enjoy with a steak.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2017 Pours dark brown with a lingering head. Big oak notes, malt vinegar, slight toffee & stone fruit. Taste: Morello cherries, stone fruit, wood, vinegar, sour finish. Overall: Excellent.

330mL bottle, BB 12/9/17 (just over 1yr old despite being a new arrival at Boozebud.com). Appearance: Brown. Quickly diminishing beige head. 3 Aroma: Raisins, dark berries, oak. Very unique. 6 Taste: Upfront vinegar sourness. Cherries, red wine, tart acidity, sweetness. Vinegar finish. 8 Palate: Low carbonation to maximise the sour hit. Average-good body. 4 Overall: Enjoyable sourness and red wine likeness. Extremely refreshing for a hot 30C day. 17

Tart. Notes of cherry. Don't care for it cold, needs to warm up. And OK but far from my favorite sour ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Like the aroma of an aged wine. Pours a deep brown colour with light head. Flavour is spur initially then gives way to a sweet, textured finish—hint of its oak-aged container has made its way into the flavor profile too! Not quite what I was expecting but one of the better ‘sour beers’ I’ve tried. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Czerwone owoce, akcenty winne, ciut wanilii, octowy kwasek. Średnio treściwe, wytrawne, kwaśne, cierpkie. Goryczka niska, wysycenie wysokie, musujące. Nie do końca moje klimaty, ale warto było spróbować.
