COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

This is a very fine beer indeed. There is so much going on when you taste this, its hard to describe. It has a fantastic aroma, its sour and sweet, it has good body, and a lovely oaky finish. A real classic, unique in its kind, and no other in the style comes even close.

The canonical Flemish Red/Brown ale. Hands down one of the most solid in the "sour" category. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mon exemplaire tait 1 an aprs sa date.

Really really good. Clean and oaky. It opens up with a little funk on the palate. Great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This tastes rather like a Belgian naturally fermented beer, it is dark and fruity with a sour taste as per lambic beers. Its rather nice.

I rate this just short of perfect--Flanders Red which is so far as I know the most consistently available Grand Cru in Southern California. The first time I had it, I thought it was a Belgian Red that had gone bad, but after my first glass I wanted another. It nails that sweet spot where the hardened beer snob and the sour novice will both enjoy it---fantastic first choice if you have a friend that you are trying to get into sours!
