A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Pours a murky brown, with a red hue. Small beige head that quickly fades away. Sour cherries, oak, red wine, cider, slightly lactic. Starts out dry, builds up into a nice tart note that lasts long into the finish. Lots of umami. Soft medium body with sparkling, but also soft carbonation.
What hasnt been written about this one? A very, very pleasant sour beer. Excellent balance in aroma and taste, and still kinda fresh.

Pour is a dark brown aroma is a huge red wine vinous note with some oak and sourness. Flavor is supper tart cherry with some apple cider vinegar and sour bacteria notes. Finish cleans the palate quickly for another sip. All things sour and tart. Even if this style is not your thing this is still one to try just for the blending of old and new beers alone. Great beer! Will this be worth it after the heartburn later? Only time will tell.

Barwa brunatna, piana beżowa, średnio obfita, trwała. Aromat intensywny, lekko kwaśny - kwaśne czerwone owoce, susz owocowy, melasa, nuty rustykalne: skra, siano. W tle drewno.

10/13/12/13/9/13

Pours with a very slight head that disappears quickly. Color is reddish Coca-Cola. Aroma is somewhat typical sour beer and has clear oak barrel fermentation aroma. Additionally some more complex aroma such as raspberry, dark chocolate, dried plum and a plethora of other aromas in a complex overall aroma. The aroma is sadly a bit "dirty", although this is typical of sour beers. Ive found the aroma to not be the best part of sour beers. Palate is dry and oily, not quite balanced, but rather "mixed" between the two. Not too bad though. Taste is typical sour ale, but taste sweeter and more "compressed". The fermented aroma typical of sour beers is well "hidden" and not too overwhelming. And theres a clear red/brown ale sweetness and maltiness in the body. Additionally an apple cider like overtone and some lemon notes spread in the mouth. A very stylistic and "standardized" presentation of the sour beer and red/brown ale styles.

330ml bottled 2016-05-12.

Pour clear mahogany with a nice off-white foam that completely disappear.
Aroma of sour black cherries, molasse and wood.
Taste is of sweet black cherries vinegar, wood and ashes notes.
Medium to high body and low to medium carbonation. Long cherries skin and tart finish.

330ml bottled 2014-05-16. Kept in a temperature (14 celsius) and light (pitch black) controlled environment.
The cherries and wood is more blended, less present and faded. So this brew is not interesting pass 3 years. 7-4-7-4-14 3.6
