COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Drinked in bottle in a pub. At the nose : marsala, raspberry juice, Modena aged balsamic vinegar and cherry. In mouth is light bodied, veeeery refreshing and thirst quenching. Tiny sourness at the beginning and then a sweet harshness. Marvellous beer in a hot summer evening.

Tap @ Bitter Phew. Murky brown/red, like a red wine gone bad. Deliciously complex, full of barrel influence, cherry and plum, vinous notes, touch of tannin and moderate sourness.

330ml bottle at Harmoonia (Viljandi). Pours hazy reddish-brown, small beige head. Wood, red wine, tartness, cherries in aroma. Taste is sour, woody, tannin, winey, vinegary. Tannin woody finish, apple vinegar. Medium bodied, average carbo. Enjoyable, well balanced sour. I really like it.

Pours a murky brown, with a red hue. Small beige head that quickly fades away. Sour cherries, oak, red wine, cider, slightly lactic. Starts out dry, builds up into a nice tart note that lasts long into the finish. Lots of umami. Soft medium body with sparkling, but also soft carbonation.
What hasn’t been written about this one? A very, very pleasant sour beer. Excellent balance in aroma and taste, and still kinda fresh.

Pour is a dark brown aroma is a huge red wine vinous note with some oak and sourness. Flavor is supper tart cherry with some apple cider vinegar and sour bacteria notes. Finish cleans the palate quickly for another sip. All things sour and tart. Even if this style is not your thing this is still one to try just for the blending of old and new beers alone. Great beer! Will this be worth it after the heartburn later? Only time will tell.
