COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rodenbach Rosso is a refreshing fruit beer based on the unique Rodenbach beers aged in oak barrels, partly macerated with full red fruits. Its unique fruity flavor thanks to the sour cherries, raspberries and cranberries that oaked beer enrich and flavor. It has the color of a young Burgundy wine. It is slightly alcoholic, has a slightly dry finish and a beautiful pink red head

Glaasje van de tape in Brugge. Roze helder bier met mooie schuimkraag, iets troebel. Aroma van de krieken. Smaakt erg zuur en waterig. Nasmaak is ook zuur.

Cherry, oak, farmhouse funk. Ruby red, thick, tan head. Tangy cherry, like red slurpees. Medium body, soft carbonation. Rather like alcopop, but tasty.

2 8.5 ounce cans into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep ruby red color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky light pink head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lightly tart/sour cherry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, plum, red grape, red/green apple, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted bread; with light notes of hay, straw, funk, vanilla, oak, red wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/light funky yeast, fruit, dark/bready malt, and light oak notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart/sour cherry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, plum, red grape, red/green apple, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted bread; with light notes of hay, straw, funk, vanilla, oak, red wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/sour cherry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, plum, red grape, red/green apple, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light funky yeast, fruit, dark/bready malt, and light oak flavors; with a nice malt/tartness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Lightly increasing tart/tangy dryness. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly acidic, and slightly slick/syrupy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is an incredible fruited Flanders red ale! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light funky yeast, fruit, dark/bready malt, and light oak flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly tart/tangy finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Insanely jammy on fruit with balanced sweet malts; and decent amounts of sour/wild ale complexity and oak presence. Absolutely spot on for the style, you can taste the Rodenbach under all the cherries/berries. A highly enjoyable offering.

8.5 oz. can from Higher Gravity. Pours a mostly clear rich ruby red color with a finger of pink tinted head that settles into a ring and thin film. Notes of sweet berries, cherries, raspberries, and cranberries, vanilla, cream, apple, plum, and sweet malts. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a sweet, fruity mouthfeel. A little tangy and barely tart. Easy fruity sipper.

Little slim can shared at DCLawyer’s sour tasting. As Fruitage. Clear dark red with off-white head. Aromas of fruit punch, strawberry, cherries. Tastes of fruit punch and berries. Light body with a dry finish. Tasty enough but not very beer like.

Hanasta @August Von Trappe. Punainen kuulas väri, pieni mutta tuuhea viipyvä punertava vaahto. Tuoksu makea fantamaisen keinomarjaisa. Suutuntuma raikas, kirpeähkö, samettinen, lievä vadelmaisa kirpeys ja happamuus tulee jälkeen, melko loivasti kuitenkin. Sulanutta pakastesokeroitua vadelmaa jälkifiilingeissä. Ihan juotavaa ja suht raikasta.

Sold as Rodenbach Fruitage on tap. Extremely fruity. Fairly sweet. A bit of funk on the nose, but not super sour.

250ml can. Berry colored pour. Aroma is fragrant berries, flavor is graham malty berries. Okay, more like a radler.
