Not as complex as the Grand Cru version. But a very refreshing sour all the same. I will have to try them side-by-side next time. I've had this a number of times now. And OK but not great sour ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

PREZENTACJA: pod światło klarowne, kasztanowe, piana skąpa, sycząca, od razu opada do obrączki ;
AROMAT: kwaśne nuty mlekowe i wytrawne, leżakowane w drewnie czerwone wino ;
ODCZUCIE: ciało średnie, wysoko nasycone, nieprzyjemnie szczypie w czubek języka;
SMAK: lekko słodkie owocowe wino z wyraźnym klepkowym akcentem, kwaskowy posmak ;

Bottle from beer shop in Mennen. A very refreshing, tasty sour beer. Not entirely sure how to describe it as it brings together some great feelings of many styles: ESB, lambic, Trappist and puts them in one very tasty but not remarkable beer (which is good as I could drink this on the regular if i could). Sludgy brown colour which appears more deep red up to the light. Basement aroma. Lovely sweet & sour taste, deep with oak with an oily finish. Yummy.

Cherry stone, plum in the fragrance. Color from red to brown with a weak white foam. Same as the fragrance. Dry fruit berry. Light body, small carbonation.

Sirop de sucre pur, à conseiller en cas d’hypoglycémie, arrière goût de couenne de jambon fumé, l’étiquette laisse transparaitre la détresse des commerciaux de cette brasserie... encore une bière qui fait de la Belgique un pays plat...

330ml bottle at The Trappe Door. Pours clear reddish-amber with a thick beige head. Tart cherries, dark malt, balsamic, wood, yeast. Moderate carbonation, light bodied. Sweet and sour finish. Tasty and very refreshing.
