ZBF2008: From tap. Pours hazy and dark brown with a lacing tan head. Dry and light roasted malt. Flavour holds that rather fruity towards cherry flavoured Rodenbach yeast with a distinct ether note. Light roasted malt flavour too. Slight sharp spiced flavour towards the finish. Goes slight dry. Ungstrup (38383) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2003
The aroma is slightly sour and sweet with notes of plums and the wild fermentation - really good. The color is deep red and slightly unclear. The head is beige and long lasting. The flavor is lovely: sour and sweet with notes of black currant and plums, and it ends on a nice acidicness. A little thin for a Belgium beer - probably the 5% ABV. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2008

A gift from Peter who works in Brusles but wisely lives in Leuven, tasted at Delirium. Nicely sweet and sour with oaky overtones. A winner. cgarvieuk (25984) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 13, 2009
bottle at home ... brown ... tart malty raisin sourness ... mild sourness ... again raisins ... little balsamic vinegar ... this grows on me, but is definitly not as complex as many others though it grows on me and is very clensing omhper (25723) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 28, 2002
