TURDFERGUSON (4057) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - DEC 11, 2011
Bottle. Pours super cloudy reddish brown with a small white head. Nose of fruit and oak, prunes, plums, cherry, mild vinegar, light brine. Flavor is mildly sweet, mildly sour. Compared to some of the top american beers in this style, this feels very watered down. Medium bodied, with a slick texture, soft carbonation, and a slightly acidic finish. A good intro the world of sour beers.

Pours red brown with a tiny off cream head. Smells overly vinegary with undertones of cherry. I thought for a moment t had turned. Tastes overtly sour with a sweetness underneath. A lasting tingly sensation. Does grow on you but Not one I would come back to in a rush.

$2.85 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours reddish brown, small off-white head. Aroma of cherry and plum. Flavor is cherry, sour after the first sip, perhaps vinegary... almost tastes like a red wine thats starting to turn - but finishes with a decent malt backbone.

Aroma and taste very nice: sour, somewhat sweet of course but well balanced, a little thin though. Carbo lively.

0.25 bottle. Pours clear amber, almost no head. Aroma: wine, weak vinegar, red grape juice, sour, ripe apples. Medium carbonation, medium body. Flavors follow the nose, taste being medium sweet and tart sour. Overall, its a nice drink.

Lekker roodbruin achtig bier. Niet zwaar, maar goed van smaak. Tip: drink het bij mosselen. Smaakt het prima bij.

nathanvc (391) - Brugge, BELGIUM - APR 16, 2017
Pours clear amber/red with a lasting, beige head. The aroma contains red fruits, wine, wood, port and some vinegar. It tastes medium sweet and medium sour. Tart and slightly dry finish. Quite thin in texture, soft carbonation. Complex and refreshing, and a classic Flemish Sour, but lacking some punch in the palate.
