11.2 oz bottle, BB 7/12/16. My 50th rated red/brown sour! Muddy brown with ruby tints and balsa froth. Nose is burgundy, cherry and oak. Medium body with a dull tang, just tart. Taste is soft cherry, raspberry, toffee and SweeTarts. Good, everyday sour(ish).

Aroma of cherries, dried fruits, plum, wine, wood, sourish. Sour sweet taste, dried fruits. Fruity aftertaste

Can - okay so it’s not the awesome Grand Cru but there’s more than an echo of that brew in this - a touch of vinegar detracts from the red wine sour that dominates - as an entry level it might put off some folk but luckily I had the best brew on tap before seeing this in the bottle shop and I understand it - totally fine for a mid-week quaffer - good with food too.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 23B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 06 11:50 (BBF 05.28.2018). AROMA: medium to medium-low sour aroma with notes similar to red wine. slight wood and carboard presence. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color and clear. medium tanned head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium sour character (red wine), some wood and carboard. medium-low bitterness with an almost dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a more agressive red flandres, compared to the Grand Cru version.

Decent, nothing special. Too low in taste. In compare with the other rodenbach - this is far away lower.

Wielkiego szału nie ma, ale bije na głowę 99% polskich sesyjniaków. I cena też fajna.

Aroma of red fruits jam made of strawberries, raspberries, cranberries. Very sweet, fruity with some nuts, caramel notes. Light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness similar to dry red wine. Medium body, thin feel, average carbonation,

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2017 Beautiful dark red - blood like colour. Gently carbonated, generous foam but short lasting. smell is sour wine like candy. The body is a bit watery to me. Gently sour. In my opinion this is exact sour red, no major side tastes but not my type

Kran w Kontynuacji we Wrocławiu. Wygląd - ciemno rubinowe, lekko zmętnione, z małą, drobną pianą. Aromat - wiśnie w alkoholu, trochę octu, lekkie klimaty stajni. Smak - o dziwo dość słodkawe, z lekką kwaśnością. Są funky notes, jest trochę karmelu, wiśnie. Ciało pprzyciężkawe, nasycenie średnie. Goryczki brak.

Aroma is faint cherry. Color is also like a cherry wood hue. Taste is slightly sour, with fruity undertones, a bit winey. I'm not a fan of sours, and this is drinkable. Fans of sours may want something more pungent.
