Cocoa, bread, a little rye, raisins, plums. Not very sweet. Missing some body. Middle is slightly thin. Creamy.

Very good bockbeer, nice and spicey aroma and also good balance between peat and sweetness, which is a trademark of a good bock in my opinion. Not my favorite beercategory, but the ones that are good can be surprinsingly so. This one rates as good, no doubt.

Bottle. Color: Ruby, beige head. Taste: Roasted malt. Medium sweet with just the right amount of hopbitterness. Lightly hints of coffee, nuts and chocolate. Gentle, smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Long bitter and sweet roasted finish.

martjoobolut (5096) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 31, 2017
Bottle, 7% ABV, BB 12.10.2018 (from hetbiermoment). Pours dark copper with beige head. Aroma is classic bocky notes - malt, caramel, grains, some burnt notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malt, caramel, burnt notes, some vegetables, black bread, bit milkyness. Finish is burnt sugar. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: Salvator this is not, but what is beside the o.g. Salvator?! This is still very good beer and very underrated. I feel like this is an overrate, but if you can brew beer like this, you are doing something right, so ...

Helder robijnrood. Vrij weinig geur, erg Kruidige smaak. Niet zo zoet. Kruidnagel?

3.9
jerohen (2351) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2017
Bottled from HetBierMoment. Dark brown colored, lasting beige head. Nose of roasted malts, coffee, caramel, toffee, nuts, impressive. Bittersweet flavor, coffee, hint of Baileys, caramel. Bittersweet finish. More complexity in aroma than in flavor, but nevertheless a complex and balanced beer.

rusos (782) - Stupava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 21, 2016
Bottle, thanks to Gurthnar. Sligthly hazy amber colour. White head. Aroma is caramel, malty, red fruits, molasses. Taste is sweet, malty, caramel, red fruit, alcohol. Sligthly empty body and watery. Overall not Bad.

Gurthnar (6197) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 21, 2016
Bottle from Local Swap from RW80. Thanks! Honeyish maltiness and sweetness dominates the aroma and is also strong in flavour. In flavour moderate hoppiness adds a much needed balance, also moderate bitterness. The beer remains overall sweet and caramelly though. Full bodied, warming, sipper. Good though.

3.7
Cuso (8935) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 21, 2016
Bottle kindly shared by Gurthnar. Amber color with medium off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, honey, candies. Taste, sweet honey, candies, clove. Good.
