Bottle, 7% ABV, BB 12.10.2018 (from hetbiermoment). Pours dark copper with beige head. Aroma is classic bocky notes - malt, caramel, grains, some burnt notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malt, caramel, burnt notes, some vegetables, black bread, bit milkyness. Finish is burnt sugar. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: Salvator this is not, but what is beside the o.g. Salvator?! This is still very good beer and very underrated. I feel like this is an overrate, but if you can brew beer like this, you are doing something right, so ...

Helder robijnrood. Vrij weinig geur, erg Kruidige smaak. Niet zo zoet. Kruidnagel?

jerohen (2260) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2017
Bottled from HetBierMoment. Dark brown colored, lasting beige head. Nose of roasted malts, coffee, caramel, toffee, nuts, impressive. Bittersweet flavor, coffee, hint of Baileys, caramel. Bittersweet finish. More complexity in aroma than in flavor, but nevertheless a complex and balanced beer.

Bottle from Local Swap from RW80. Thanks! Honeyish maltiness and sweetness dominates the aroma and is also strong in flavour. In flavour moderate hoppiness adds a much needed balance, also moderate bitterness. The beer remains overall sweet and caramelly though. Full bodied, warming, sipper. Good though.

Light gushing to huge rubiginous yellow head over fully hazy redbrown beer. Sweet nose with aniseed, almonds, marzipan. Spicy and roasted, but generally referring to really sweet flavours. Faint acidity, helped by the rather overdone carbonation; yeasty too. Very thick, creamy texture. Long lasting flavours with roasty bitter(ish)ness. Sweet Bock.

MelvinKalksma (1462) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 17, 2016

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruits and nuts.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque ruby/brown beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium beige/brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Medium sweet and slightly dry with malts, caramel, dried fruits and nuts.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks complexity. Only has one flavour, but does his trick pretty decent.
