UPDATED: JUN 3, 2014 Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Almost opague. Pours a huge head. Dark chocolate, licorice and a hint of peat in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with licorice and peat. Slightly yeasty aftertaste with initial licorice and persistant peat. A very pleasant surprise.

Fin (10039) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2011
On tap at TArendsnest, Amsterdam, Netherlands on Friday 30.09.11 Thick, heavy black beer with a light beige head. There is definately some peatiness going on here, there is also some spirit, though it is not too heavy or overpowering. Nice roasty cappuccino, with some spent coffee grains aplenty. Nice beer.
