Bottle traded with Borresteijn. Thanks a bunch! As my rating no. 4500. It pours pitch black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is hard roasted malt, light peat, liquorice and bitter coffee. The flavour is roasted and bitter with strong notes of liquorice and bitter coffee. Long bitter roasted finish. Very nice. laiti (8513) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 21, 2015

Aroma is acidic and a bit sour with milky notes and some roasted malt. Also vinegar. Flavour has ash, some licorice, tobacco and coffee. Also sweetish fruit juice tones in the background. Weird - sourness in the aroma but flavour is rather balanced and straightforward. Some mild salty licorice at the end of the glass. Smooth and easy to drink - even at the end of the glass. Not the most typical baltic porter.
Black colour with a beige head. Roasted malt and coffee aroma. Coffee, roasted malt and chocolate flavour. Way too much alcohol coming up. A bit better when I was eating chocolate.Hermod (8349) - Vantaa, FINLAND - APR 9, 2015

33cl bottle. Poured black colored, thin brown head. Woody, roasted malty aroma, some licorice, strong coffee notes. Pleasant aroma overall.
Some red wine notes actually. Flavor has roasted malt, cocoa, dark chocolate, hops. Long, but quite dry finish, some vinous notes, roast. Easy to drink despite the high ABV. Very tasty. RichTheVillan (8248) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2016

33cl Bottle: BBD 31st Oct 15, poured into a Leffe chalice at home on 26th Apr 14. My 5th beer in a random tasting evening with myself!
A deep and dark tanned bubbly head sat on top of a truly ruby red body, the head falling away as I wrote these words, how sad!
The aroma was of ground coffee combined with old cocoa beans and vanilla pods, as was the taste: some hints of bitterness and sourness in there somewhere too. Chocolate can sometimes be bitter, and this is maybe what I picked up? Rich and alcoholic in the body, almost smooth: I really enjoyed it. VastActiv (7592) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2017
