Had this one at Gouda Winterbierfestival 2011. Dark red color, fine smell and really fine carbs. DutchDrebus (6079) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUL 18, 2011
A nice hoppy and bitter beer. It’s slightly oily but that doens’t really bother me. Racked up a nice score. caesar (7165) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 8, 2014
Tap @ DDDH, medium sample. Clear copper color, short head. Aroma of candy sugar, caramel malt, raisin, slight spicy, some grapefruit as well. Thick sirupy body. Quite sweet in taste, bit bitter. Small sipper. A bit on the sweet side, but lovely beer to finish the night with. androman (2635) - Maarssen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 1, 2014
8% alcohol version, 33cl bottle @ home from Mitra. Hazy dark ruby-brownish color, medium creamy beige head with good lacing. Aroma red wine, caramel in the nose, flavor is roasted malt, licorice, medium soy sauce, more caramel, more roasty, some dark chocolate and light coffee, the smell of wine has totally gone. Taste medium sweetness, medium to heavy roasted bitterness, hint of sourness sometimes appears. Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, fine medium lasting roasted bitter finish. Delicious brown dessert beer, a bit sweeter than the average but it’s totally OK. Bullit (4672) - Burgos, SPAIN - FEB 9, 2014
Tap @ De Drie Dorstige Herten, 2011 edition. Clear dark reddish colour, with a tan head. Nose is toasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, light sugary. Flavour of light toasted malts, caramel, fruits, light hoppy, bit of wood. Low carbonation. Good stuff.

Dark brown, creamy beige head. Beer combines roasted malts and nice hops. Good body and fine carbo. Svesse (8683) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2013
(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 20 Feb 2013) Reddish brown colour with dense, beige head. Malty nose with notes of chocolate, caramel and dark bread. Malty taste with caramel, dark fruit, chocolate, hints of smoke and a certain sweetness in a finish with generous, spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with soft mouthfeel. Well balanced and quite intriguing. Very nice. alassio (96) - USA - APR 9, 2013
Very little carbonation but nice lightly fizzy mouthfeel, as enchanting plum, chocolate and cedar flavors and touch of sweetness yield to a stiffening frame of hops. This is a really unique beer that is a style of its own. Purchased at De Bierkoning in Amsterdam and quaffed at home in Madison. Hansen (8601) - Assentoft, DENMARK - OCT 19, 2013
Someting wrong with ratebeer, rated this for the 3. time. Its great, has too much cinnanon in the aroma, but still ok. Flavor is great, faint cinnamon, so thats ok, heavy laqurice, salty and lasting. Thompson (710) - - JAN 4, 2014
