caesar (7156) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAR 9, 2014
Bottled, batch TIBA - 135, BB 18 June 2025, large sample. Clear amber color, very short head, merely some lacing. Aroma of oak wood, apple, hint of vanilla, caramel, raisin, white wine, cognac. Quite interesting, not really what I expected, but still quite nice. Quite boozy flavor, some sweetness of caramel and vanilla, some bitterness, a hint of apply sourness. Again, quite different from my expectations, but a very nice sipper. Really fruity.

BRW (2781) - Barcelona, SPAIN - FEB 26, 2014
Bottle, thanks to bierkoning. Copper colour with no head. Bourbon, vanilla and fruity aroma. Bourbon, vanilla and sweet taste, also malty and fruity. Some caramel too. Full body.

MonsterMagnet (1453) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 20, 2014
Bottle. Fruits, oak, bourbon, vanilla, honey. No carbonation, but a great silky mouthfeel. Lingers for ages, yum! Not perfect, but i love it! It’s too expensive though...

anders37 (26641) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 9, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity spicy weak woody caramel aroma with weak dark fruit hints. Sweetish malty spicy woody caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy woody caramel finish.

Christos (5785) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2014
Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV a whooping 12% Beautiful, especially when hold against the light, dark red to light brown colour on the body. Not much head but after a tall pour some big beige bubbles were formed on the surface, eventually coming together to form a thin line around the glass. Light lacing left behind. On the aroma lots of fruits, peaches, light apricot, light yeat too, a bit of wood and vanilla. Sweet taste with lots of grass, earth and wood. Very complex taste, every sip brings something else upfront. Grapes. Juniper berries, bitters. A bit of ash too. The list goes on. Nice bitterness on the aftertaste too, having slowly progressed from the initial sweetness, so it doesn’t come at once. Medium thin body, carbonation on very good levels. What a great beer, Rodenburg is becoming one of the dutch breweries to keep an eye on with every new release of theirs.

DutchDrebus (6002) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JAN 26, 2014
Tap @ tap takeover @ van Moll. Very hazy amber colour with a small but dense off-white head. Smells fruity, fresh, lots of malts, some hops and apricot.. Nice. Tastes hops, fresh, barley, rye.. Quite a nice beer. Full body, soft carbo.

Eevolute (5) - USA - JAN 21, 2014 does not count
An interesting barrel taste, not peated but woody, not too much tanine. And anice color and flavour explosion. It cod use a bit more bite as in CO2.

markextrae (4424) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - DEC 29, 2013
shared 37.5cl bottle at a bar. poured a amber orange colour flat like a pancake. taste of vanilla, cinnamon and other spices, oak. burned sugar, some chimical feeling. sweet taste with no intense bourbon notes. (to bad) zero carbonated. very overpriced beer!

ShivanDragon (4120) - Leeuwarden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 2, 2013
fles van @Douberd, bedankt !
bruin/amber met minimale witte kraag
aroma van vanille, zoet en hout
smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig bitter, zeer sterk (oa alcoholisch), matig gemout, redelijk kruidig, bourbon, vanille, scherp,
medium/volle body, zacht romig/glad in de mond, aardig bier

RW80 (2574) - Hoogeveen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 27, 2013
33cL bottle Appearance: murky light brown with no head. Aroma: Bourbon, wood, medicinal./chemical artificial part. Taste: Luckilly the wood flavours and the bourbon like flavour overpower the odd chemical/medical part. But that last part makes it taste odd. (Not sure if it should taste like that., ) bitter dry finish hardly any carbonation, quite dense body,
