Pours a clear golden, topped with a fairly small and non lasting white head. Mild grainy, paper aroma. Sweet with no real bitterness. Very light. Exactly like expected.

Directly from bottle. Tall airy head. Stays. Grainy aroma plus hay, fruity yeast. Light body. Thin. Grainy flavour. Fruity yeastiness along. Minimal alcohol. Low to light bitterness. Acceptable for the style.

BOTTLE 50 CL. It starts well, with a malty and bready aroma, some fruity sweetness, but also hints of striken matches and a touch of alcohol. From here, all goes downhill. The taste is dry, well-attenuated, not to say a bit alcoholic. A hint of salt too. The finish is also has a sort of dry alcoholic astringency ans some phenolic bitterness. So, if at the beginning the alcohol just spices things up, by the time you reach the middle of the glass it gets annoying. Too harsh - needs some malts.

Poured clear golden, small white lacing head. Average aroma and flavor of a medium bodied lager beer. Malt, some sweet bready character, sourish yeast, herbal-grassy hop. Average one.

coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - SEP 8, 2009
Bottle. Pours yellow with a large, but quickly dissipating white head. Generically malty, vaguely sweet aroma with some added funk. From five feet away my wife said, "Smells like rotten eggs." Hmmm. Flavor is pretty inoffensive: a far amount of vacuous malt, not much hops. Kind of a funky aftertaste. Full, creamy mouth feel that doesn’t really fit this beer. I won’t be drinking this one again.

"Abbey Pale Lager". The body is oily, honeyish and too malty (sometimes annoyingly malty). Unfortunately, not much hops in the taste and aroma.

500ml bottle, Clear golden colour, small white lacing head. Malt, some sweet bready character, sourish yeast, herbal-grassy hop. Well balanced, not watery. Aftertaste; malts, bread, syrup. Overall a tasty pal.

GhostS (488) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - SEP 6, 2016
sweetish, floury and a bit artificial aroma - biscuits, malt, a bit of hay with straws. heavy and sweetish taste - malt, straws, some grease, flowers and bitterness. so and so.
