22 oz. bomber and into a shaker it went- poured a moderately opaque mildly darkened copper color, half finger foamy off tan head in color formed and lasted for a few minutes. Aroma of 1st cutting of alfalfa (which is mostly grass BTW), pepper, and lime. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt is overly sweetened to start but chills out over time, middle holds up well, finish is slightly bittering and has a nice twang of tartness. Not too shabby. 22 ounce bottle thanks to Errl. Pours a hazy copper with a thin, creamy head of white foam. The aroma has some spices and fruity notes coming through. Sweet initially in the taste, but dries out quickly and finishes on the floral bitter side. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 22, 2013

651mL thanks to t0rin0. Pours a clear orange with okay foam. Nose is celery, apple, fruit juice, puppy breath. Taste is soapy, dry, chemical, harsh/abrasive paper. Papery to the max. Undrinkable. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Bottle:   Dirty amber, moderate haze, medium sized frothy sandy head, spotty lacing.   Faint rubbery aroma.   Reminds me of Sake yeast.   Has a stale bike tire air like flavor.   Not much about this is musty or barnish, or even like most Biere de Gardes I have had.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Its a little chewy, low carbonation, with lingering stale maltiness.   Has a smidgen of mountain shrubbiness.   Slight soily and earthy notes linger.   Reminds me of some of the experimental stuff from Epic Ales in Seattle.   Not a fan of this one.   Thanks Bill! jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 10, 2013
