Clear medium to dark amber - red orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, mandarin, wood, oak, light butter. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange zest, fruity, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottled sample from Specks in San Antonio. Holy bitterness. Should have read the IBU rating. Lots of hops. Little citrus. Not my kind of beer but appreciated it.

This was a very nice beer. Aroma pleasant but subdued with a slight metallic fragrance. Taste very complex...strong citrus, apricot, earth, wood on a nice smooth malt backbone. Finish clean

Bottle. Bronze beer with a dark cream head. Earth and light pine aroma. Pine and grapefruit flavor with malt. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Big grapefruit and pine linger with caramel backing and light earthiness. Christian (13605) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2013
Ulfborg weekend celebration of nothing in particular. Hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, citrs hops and plenty of diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with toffee and diacetyl, citrus hops and a quite bitter finish yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle, 22oz. A dense, light beige head of moderate size forms over a clear, amber body. There’s a light vanilla touch in the aroma, but it’s mostly hoppy scents in there. Cheesy hints, pine cones, some citrus zest and a solid dose of malts as well. It’s quite full-bodied, a tad too sweet, with a nice carbonation. Citrus peel, pine cones and a touch of cheesy notes in the flavor. Lots of bitterness, stretching into the very end. But still not enough compared to the sweetness from the malts. Decent, nothing more. 131123
