3.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma of roasted malt, meat, coffee, and chocolate. Pours a deep black with a none lasting tan head and minor lacing. The taste is roasty, meaty, slightly bitter coffee, a hint of sweetness and a nice bitterness in the finish. Medium- full body with medium carbonation. Overall, a very robust and enjoyable porter.
22 ounce bottle bought awhile ago in Houston. Dark pour tan head. Some chocolate notes and a light body. Ron (4264) - Rochester, New York, USA - NOV 13, 2015
Bottle. Pours black with a foamy dark brown head that dissipates slowly. Aroma has a strong roasted malt note with a bit of coffee and underlying bitter dark chocolate. Flavor starts with strong roasted malts and dark chocolate but finishes with dark coffee. Nice think malt! Cavie (4874) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 12, 2015

Good aroma of coffee chocolate roasts. Somewhat dark for style. Mouthfeel is full, almost chewy. Taste is well balanced and pleasant, though somewhat full for ABV.
