Clear golden color, white head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is crisp with saaz, light malt. The flavor is very balanced one of the best pils I've had. Dry finish, light and easy drinking pils. The trademark pacman taste definately feels through here. beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - AUG 3, 2004
(RBSG 2004) Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is grassy and grainy. A medium bodied pilsner. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. Fruity and orangish. Nice pilsner, a little aggressive with the hops, but it kind of works. Light and refreshing.. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 18, 2004
Sample at the Philly gathering, July 10. Honey-gold, cloudy...lightly sweet nose...fairly bit bitterness, biscuity maltiness, sourdough. Quite nice. jsquire (4622) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 2004
It says retired, but we were still able to get it at the pub in Portland. Yellow beer with a white head. Little nose (smells like beer). Some citrus flavors, but I mostly got astringent grain flavors. Okay beer, but there was something unpleasant in it. Nuffield (4202) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAR 16, 2004
Clear yellow with lacing head. Dry, it would appear, but a subtle sweetness comes otu in the long palate. I couldn't get spaghetti notes out of my head--must have been the plate of pasta just served to someone at a nearby table at the Rogue pub. Creamy palate. Not tops in the category, but decent. They had it on tap a month after it was supposed to have been finished. (on tap at Rogue Ales Public House, Portland)

Cloudy and light golden with a nice and frothy head. Creamy-smooth mouthfeel. Malts were wheaty, with notes of grains and sweet cereal. Hops were flowery and herbal. Slightest element of fruit (mild lemon and gentle flowers) mixed in. Pretty good pils. Eyedrinkale (3235) - Astoria, New York, USA - APR 21, 2004
Cloudy golden color with big white head. Aroma is more malty than anything else. Taste is sticky sweet and chewy malty. Very well balanced with a bit of a sharp hop bite. DougShoemaker (3146) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 24, 2004
Malty, hoppy and citrusy. Amber, with a cream head. Quite malty at first for a pilsner, some hoppiness shyly presents itself. Medium bodied, clean. Good, but more is expected from these guys. Thanks radiomgb! JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - JUL 18, 2004

looks like a pilsener: clear golden, white head... I found it to be sour and tart and not very enjoyable.
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white soapy looking head. Aroma is perfect for a pilsner, light malty with a grassy smell to it. Taste is light and refreshing, with a nice hop balance.
