Painted 22 oz bottle on Christmas Day, 2016. Look: Beer pours dark brown in color, deep red-brown and almost opaque in the glass. Moderate size, fluffy and durable tan head. Aroma: dark roasted grains in balance with medium roast coffee. Flavor: delivers what the nose suggests, including a very well balanced mix of dark roasted grains and coffee flavors with a clear suggestion of dark chocolate. Mild bitterness. Feel: full bodied; creamy smooth; relatively lively carbonation. Overall: excellent, surprising even this Rogue fan.

Bottle.Dark brown with a small head. Coffee dominates with hops in background. Perfectly balanced with the coffee flavours in the front but not taking over. Left los of lacing. A good beer.

Bomber from World Beer Market. A deep cola with a light brown head of foam. The aroma is lactose & sweet coffee with a bit of roastiness. The taste is bittersweet, coffee, lactose with a Nutella-chocolate finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. bottle from Perrys. It pours a ruddy dark brown color with a small light tan head. The aroma has some dark bread, hints of coffee and cocoa along with some rather strong jalapeno notes that can sometimes accompany these kinds of beers. The flavor is the same. Mild roasted coffee, bread with noticeable jalapeno and acidity. A bit roasted, nutty and acidic in the finish. The body seems on the light side as well. Overall, not bad but I wasnt really impressed. It needs to lose the pepper flavors and gain some body.

Pours a dark orange - brown with a vanishing head and some roast & sweetness in the aroma. Robust roast & bitterness comes through first and ends slightly sweet, roasted, chocolaty, and ever so slightly sour. The body is silky & thin, even a little watery, but has enough substance in its malts to give it an overall good profile. Gets better & better as it warms in the glass. Overall; eh, its ok.

Bottle from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown with a broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, coffee, molasses. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter with a light, slightly watery, liqourice bitter, burnt toffee, coffee, dark chocolate palate and a lingering coffee bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Id prefer a little more body but there is plenty going on flavour wise.
