Not the usual high octane brew I’ve become used to from Rogue - malt but no hop profile - okay Amber, just not for me.

Dorqui (2302) - Brescia, ITALY - JAN 15, 2018
Bottled 0,355L. Dark limpid rediish color, medium bubbly aspect with good head of long resistance and foamy aspect. Discreet malty and cortex aroma, notes of aged grapes, softly yeast and alcohol. Moderate bitterish mouth, modest body, a little watery palate with moderate alcoholic and malty final.

thmsboyd (218) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - JAN 4, 2018
355mL bottle BBE: Unknown. Served in a tulip glass @ 16ºC. Pours a densely-cloudy, pinkish copper body with a large amount of fine sediment. A large, fairly loose fawn head recedes at a moderate speed to a patchy cover, with plenty of lacing. A more creamy top is easily roused. The nose is a little soapy, slightly vegetal and resinous with a peppery spice. Light vanilla and bread. To taste: light-medium sweetness both malty and fruity, and a heavy, lasting, almost coffee-like bitterness. Medium-bodied with quite a creamy texture, high carbonation and a ginger and spice finish. Some of the less appealing notes in this may be attributed to hop staling, but since there's no expiry date marked on the bottle, it's maybe too kind to offer this as an excuse. Certainly some unusual properties.

Das American Amber Ale der Brauerei Rogue Ales aus Newport, Oregon (USA). Sehr patriotisches Etikett, Stars & Stripes wohin man sieht, gut so.

Texture huileuse, carbonatation fine, moyennement abondante. Très bonne Ale.

Tastes extremely astringent at the rogue pub in the portland airport. I hope it's not always like this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

To bitter for me to enjoy. Kind of reminded me of a more bitter dead guy ale. Very long-lasting metallic bitter aftertaste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From Elcervecero. In Teku glass. Watching Games of Thrones 7x01. Well executed standard american amber, without displeasing notes but a bit watery body
