The name of the beer along with the fact that it was made the beard yeast meant that I has to try it. This is an absolutely delicious beer! It tastes like a fine Belgian! Respect the beard! ghawener (1607) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JUN 15, 2014
Bottle @ Cangrejera for Father´s Day: well balanced malt base with a great yeasty aroma & taste. Bread dough, banana, vanila in the taste. Keep that yeast alive! Food Pairing: Soft creamy cheese. KennethArd (570) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2016
Sweet aroma of mandarin. Hazy golden with white head. Medium sweet & light sour. Medium body, creamy texture & soft carbonation. Cybercat (5840) - Georgia, USA - OCT 15, 2013
From a guy’s BEARD? Too wild! I love it! Pours a beautiful, slightly hazy golden with a fairly thick and fluffy buff head. Aroma is mainly yeasty - no beard smell, thankfully ;) - with a fruity underpinning and a hint of fresh malt. Mouth-filling flavor pleases with fruity, yeasty, woody and malt notes. Finish is yeasty with a hint of hoppy bitterness, while texture is firm and somewhat fizzy. OK, what’s next for Rogue? Listigovers (1174) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 25, 2015
Maybe my love of facial hair makes me biased, or maybe it’s my love of sour beers, but this is a home run. Wonderful sour aroma without the acidic smell. Orange pour with a long lasting white head. Taste is great, not really sour but funky with a long complex aftertaste. Taste is bretty, yeasty, really good.

Appearance: Deep amber, with a light, white head.
Taste: Hops, mango, pineapple, and a very slight hint of coffee.
Palate: Bitter at first, with a lingering sweet finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: I bought this beer for the gimmick, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is a great beer. Interesting aromas, and clean, refreshing flavours make this quite a complex beer.
22oz bottle. hazy gold beer with a swirling, angry, carbonation bubbles and a small, stable white head. aroma of tropical pineapple fruity hops, vanilla, lemon. a dry finishing beer with a clean aftertaste. the aggressive carbonation appearance in the glass actually palates quite nice. flavor is lightly sweet from cakey, doughy, malt flavors and tropical hop notes and yeast. who knew maiers beard was belgian! turns out really good. jmohno (1619) - Iowa, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Pours a hazed light orange, not too carbonated. Nice head and froth. Good mouthfeel. Some citrus and slight sour.Leather, tobacco, hay, earthy, some berry fruit. This is pretty good really.Full mouthfeel. I like the finish and enjoy the aroma. Dig this. superspak (5603) - Michigan, USA - OCT 1, 2014
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon, apricot, pear, apple, light banana, clove, black pepper, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, light banana, clove, black pepper, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, clove, black pepper, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a great crisp malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian pale ale style. All around great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering. Fisler (548) - Bamberg, GERMANY - JUL 22, 2017
Super Ding! Hohe Drinkability.
