TASTING NOTES: A non-traditional India Pale Ale with big citrusy, hop flavor and intense hop aroma. Medium-bodied with a vibrant lingering hop-bitterness that is anything but brutal. Enjoy!

355 ml bottle. Bought in a Jumbo Supermarket in Santiago. Dense golden color with perfect thick head. Fruits and pepper smell with strong hops, tipical ipa; less smelly maybe. Good first strike, with sweetness. Miss a little more flavour in the end, but is still excelent.

Pleasantly surprised by the Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar, I obviously chose this one with some expectations. Well, its a good IPA indeed, but this is not my favorite style to begin with. A fresh and hoppy taste, not way different from the best IPAs on the market but still enjoyable. Some bitterness quickly dissipated and a pretty correct aftertaste in mouth. Not my usual cup of tea but good enough to be APPROVED BY TAVERNYS BLACK METAL CREW!

Bottle, 12 FL. OZ. Pours very cloudy deep amber/orange with half a finger of soapy off-white head which doesnt stick around long. Patchy lacing, moderate amount of visible carb; small bubbles. Nose is malty, sweet, fruity. Strong caramel, sourdough bread, candied pineapple and orange/blood orange, other tropical fruits around the edges and nicely balanced out by fresh, floral, citrus-y hops. Taste is similarly fruity and sweet, but also with a noticeably sharp grapefruit-y sourness as it hits the tongue. Turns sweeter and slightly syrupy towards the finish with some more juicy fruit (orange, mango) and sourdough malt. Some chalk/mineral bitters right at the end. Finish is long and wet a moderate lingering hoppy bitterness, with some cereal, light spice and white pepper. Body is solid medium and despite the slight syrupy character this doesnt seem as sticky as some claim, instead going down super smoothly for me. Moderate carbonation adds a bit of extra refreshing sharpness. Great stuff with an excellent sweet/sour/bitter balance; not quite the juice monsters of your Cloudwater and "New England style" fare but a fine fruity IPA.

orange beer with a small white head. Floral, fruity aroma. Limited carbonated. Taste almost smoky, a bit sticky even. Not my thing.
