TASTING NOTES: A non-traditional India Pale Ale with big citrusy, hop flavor and intense hop aroma. Medium-bodied with a vibrant lingering hop-bitterness that is anything but brutal. Enjoy!

Hazy orange-copper body wears a good sized off-white foam, mostly lasting and displaying good lacing. Floral grapefruity citric nose, cascade like (though I suspect theres more than that) reminds more of an IPA than anything else, but it has this earthy and sweet maltiness that reminds me of lost coast indica. It is indeed surprisingly bitter in mouth, but theres a fair amount malty husky sweetness to keep it balanced. Finishes very dry, Id be curious to try a fresh one as this bottle has quite a few months on it. Moderately high carbonation enhances the bitterness I feel and might be a bit lower, but solid overall oily textured mouthfeel. Quite an original one which I enjoyed more than I expected to and is considered such a classic that Im surprised its the first time I enjoy it.

Not as brutal as expected. The body is medium for an IPA. The aftertaste is very bitter and a bit malty, as expected. Some interesting floral and citrus notes on the nose and the palate. More balanced than the name suggests, but overall a very enjoyable IPA.

Botella 33cl del 3er tiempo Santander. Wow! Ipa robusta y contundente. No demasiado gruesa y con largo final. Con cautela.

355 ml bottle. Bought in a Jumbo Supermarket in Santiago. Dense golden color with perfect thick head. Fruits and pepper smell with strong hops, tipical ipa; less smelly maybe. Good first strike, with sweetness. Miss a little more flavour in the end, but is still excelent.
