22 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a dense chocolate brown head. Aroma is dense chocolate with a strange yet nice fruity note - towards berries. I pick up the same distinct berry note in the flavour too. Nicely roasted malt, bitterhops flavour and smooth yet slight dusty chocolate powderish flavour. Solid bitter and roasted finish. Strange with this distinct berry flavour, yet it is very pleasing. Ungstrup (37204) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2003
A black beer with a fine dark brown head. The aroma is powerful sweet and dominated by chocolate. The flavor has a soft sweet start, then the chocolate hits you and it ends on a bitter chocolate note combined with sweetness. It tastes just as the best bitter chocolates I've had. A great beer. joergen (27970) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2006

Bottle. Black colour with a small tan head. Sweet malty chocolate aroma. Sweet roasted malty flavor, with lots of chocolate. Also some hints of coffee. Roasted chocolate finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 9, 2006
(65 cl) Pours completely opaque black with a tiny, beige head. Very roasted malt aroma plus distinct chocolate. Medium-bodied with lightly burned malt accents, some vanilla and HEAPS of chocolate - too much and too artificial to be really pleasant. Slightly burned malt bitterness in the finish. 090706 omhper (24956) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 24, 2003

When cold this beer is noticeably bitter. On warming up it’s much smoother. A mild chocolatey stout with a bitterish finish.
Cask, believe it or not, at Churchkey. Dark maroon, no head, no lacing. Aroma of sweet Nestle’s bar. Taste is also sweet, light, cafe au lait and Cadbury’s. Very nice.
