Dead Guy is a German-style Maibock made with Rogues proprietary "PacMan" ale yeast. It is deep honey in color with a malty aroma, rich hearty flavor and a well balanced finish. Dead Guy is created from Northwest Harrington, Klages, Maier Munich and Carastan malts, along with Perle and Saaz Hops.
In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead (November 1st, All Souls Day) for Casa U Betcha in Portland, Oregon. The Dead Guy design proved popular and was incorporated into a bottled product a few years later with MaierBock as the elixir.

All I remember from this beer is that it put hair on my feet and toes. This was a pretty strong ale, but the actually flavor escapes me as it was a while ago so Ill have to give it another try when I have a chance.

Pours a slightly opaque red. Mild, fruity aroma. Fairly heavy carbonation. Taste has peachy undertones with hint of herbs and roasted malt. This doesn?t really taste that much like an ale, which is probably why I like it all right.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2017 Leichte Trbung. Kupferfarbe, weisser Schaum, bildet sich nur sehr wenig. Gutes Aroma, Orangen und Grser. Milder Antrunk, sehr sffiger Krper. Gute Mitten, ssse Noten, feine Malznoten. Abgang krftig, typisch Bock, leichte Sure am Gaumen. Geil!

From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a clear orangy amber with a small off white head. Aroma has lots of heavy, sticky malts, caramel, banana, sweet overripe fruits. Taste is very very sweet, heavy malty and with a tiny bitterness that not even is close to balance this beer. Very intense for the 6,5%, but other than that i havent got a whole lot of good things to say..

Nice bottle and you can find a lot of information on the website. Cloudy amber beer with short white head, full body, malty, light sweet, hopy, oily, (I have 0.65l bottle with best-before 30.04.2017)

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2017 Clead deep peach golden color with small tan foam. Aromas of tropical fruit type hops, youghurt and peach and floral notes. Palate, medium to full body with biting bitter texture leaving short dry finish. Taste, lighty bitter sweet of tropical fruits, more like not amazing IPA. Overall, okay beer, reminds more of IPA, quite hoppy still light though.
