3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: amber red. Haze. Creamy white frothy head. Very aromatic. Malt, fruit, floral, hops. Cold black tea. Fresh but complexed aroma. Medium sweet. Medium bitterness. Good balance. Floral, tropical palate. Medium richness and length. Caramel. Layers of flavour. Nice Maibock. Maybe a new house beer.
Caramel, scotch, alcohol spiciness, toasted bread. Sweet and malty, the alcohol burn is slightly felt on the tongue. Some grassy hops in the finish, but taste relies mostly on malty flavors. Good, nonetheless. higgsbison (257) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 22, 2017
One of my favorites. Lots of character but very hard to put your finger on what it is. Very strong malt backbone with a long lingering Hoppy finish. A perfectly balanced brew. Also prominent notes of caramel and toffee and biscuit.

2015 BJCP Category: 4C Helles Bock
AROMA: Malt-forward nose with slight confectionery sweetness (especially caramel). Hints of toast. Faint hop presence in the background with herbal/peppery character. Clean fermentation. 10/12
APPEARANCE: Murky shade of orange/copper. A bit too dark (9-15 SRM) and off-color for the style. Small, off-white, foam mostly dissipates. 1/3
FLAVOR: Palette is sweet but not cloying. Caramel flavor is quite prominent with minor toast and Maillard characteristics. Very low hop presence in terms of both taste (herbal, peppery) and bitterness (slightly dry). Balance is malty, but not cloying. Flavors are a bit off for the style, but in the ballpark. Clean fermentation. 12/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium body; medium-low carbonation. Smooth and comfortable with a slightly malty but ultimately clean aftertaste. Feels much lighter than 6.8% ABV. 3/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: It's a Maibock done as an American Ale so it's not exactly to spec, but it's closer than not. 6/10
TOTAL SCORE: 32/50
Nowhere near spectacular in any area. Aroma, palate, taste…all below par in imho.
Second bottle was much more enjoyable.

Nice malty body, some alcohol, honey, excellent sweetness, some tartness. Citrusy light bitterness is noticeble. Some caramel in aroma.

Very tasty. My last bought beer of my holiday and very palatable. Silly but love the can presentation too.

I thought this one was an IPA. Smooth beer, strong aroma. I like the honey-backed IPA style. Worth trying. Beergaard (384) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2017
Dark golden color, long lasting head. Sweet aroma of malt, caramel and hay. Taste of honey, caramel malt, pudding, alcohol and a wee bit hops. MorrisCode (3) - - AUG 22, 2017 does not count
Very drinkable ale. Malty taste is what I pick up. No aftertaste. Great marketing with the can

33cl can from boxbeers.dk. Pours hazy, dark golden color with a big head. Aroma has malts and hints of yeast and some spices. Flavor is more malty, quite sweet. really nice!.
