Bottle at KØ16. Mild chocolate aroma, some Nesquick. The flavour is quite sweet with a good dose of chocolate. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small stable dark brown head. Quite bitter, but nicely so.

Pours a deep dark brown with a nice tan head. Choclate/espresso aromas. Tastes just like it smells, deep coffee and chocolate flavors. Excellent!!!

BOTTLE. Pours a oil black with minimal tan head that doesn’t last.. Sweet creamy velvet chocolate & a touch of burnt coffee on the nose.. The chocolate is big early, thick dark malt, going to a dark chocolate/coffee bitterness at the back while still holding a creamy choc texture through out.. Sourced Cellarbrations @ Capel

750ml bottle enjoyed @ home, thanks to Gary May! Pours pitch black with a decent sized beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate, vanilla, bitter dark chocolate and roasted malt. A little one-dimensional. Medium sweet and medium+ bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is cocoa and bittersweet.

Kind of odd that I’ve never tried this one before. I guess I’ve just never come across it. Bottle purchased at Bier Station, and consumed in Kansas City hotel. My brother Colin helped me open the bottle without an opener. Dark black body brown head some lacing. Cocoa powder milk chocolate malt aroma. Taste is quite sweet and cocholately with a roasty bitterness. I definitely like it but I still think the Flying Monkey BNL is better. Nice beverage. Thanks, Colin, for working your magic with that Canadian quarter.

Huge chocolate aroma in an inky black pour. Full bodied flavor with big cocoa balance and hints of coffee and vanilla. Totally disguises its not inconsiderable strength - which could be a problem if you have more that you can handle. The best Rogue brew by far (in my book at least).
