This is my favorite Imperial Stout so far. Balanced aroma, with notes of chocolate, coffee, roasy. Herbaceus hops. Full, smooth body. It is a must!

From the bottle poured a very dark brew with a very dark head.Aromas of malt, lots of chocolate, roasty malt, and hops. Flavors are double of the aromas. I loved this brew.

Appearance is a deep dark brown with a thin layer of head that still left some nice lacing behind. Chocolate and a little roast were present in the nose. Chocolate was very upfront in the flavor and the roasted bitterness took over on the finish. However, there was a lingering chocolatey sweetness throughout. Excellent effort and a true chocolate beer experience! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark black with thick and short brown head. Has a strong coffee and dark chocolate milk aroma. Beer has a thick texture with a strong and smooth coffee and sweet chocolate flavor. Has a slight bitter aftertaste but it tapers off quickly.

Excellent beer for a cold rainy night by the fireplace. Fantastic desert beer! Just add ice cream!

Black pour with a thick brown head. Strong chocolate aroma. Sweet chocolate flavour with some slight coffee notes as well. Thick texture to it but a very nice chocolate stout.

Wow, This beer is all about chocolate! I had it on tap at Craft Cafe Imazato which is a real treat in Japan.

Bottiglia.

Sweet Chocolaty Jesus. This beer made heavenly love to my taste buds and stuck around to cuddle. Let me start at the beginning. Double Chocolate Stout pours pitch black and has a dark brown head. Smelling like fresh cocoa and plate of warm brownies, everything about Rogue Double Chocolate Stout says "Ravish me." I was more than willing to oblige. The brew tastes like milk chocolate and buttery cocoa. Yet, there’s enough coffee and bittersweet dark chocolate tanginess to keep the richness from becoming overbearing. With an ABV of 9%, Rogue’s Stout is dangerously delectable. If you like booze and chocolate, this is a hell of a way to consolidate your vices.

This is by far the best chocolate stout I have ever tasted. Draft, poured into an American pint glass. Appearance: Opaque black with one finger of thick chocolate milk colored head. Aroma: A roasty cocoa and coffee scent. Taste: A strong semi-sweet chocolate flavor, with roasted coffee undertones. The after taste is exactly like that of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Palate: Thick and milky, leaves the mouth coated with a pleasant semi-sweet chocolate flavor. This is the tastiest beer I have had in a long time. I will definitely be buying some whenever I see it again.
