UPDATED: JUL 21, 2017 Can. Hazy amber colour. Big frothy off-white head. Nectary malts, honey, dank, melon, tropics on nose. Medium body. Clean caramel and powerful hops tasting. Resin, citrus. Old. Good. I wish i tried it fresher.

A really well balanced IPA. Lots of caramels in malts. Hops cant be separated but there is plenty of them. Tasted in pint at Pikkulintu Helsinki

Pour from a 12oz can. Beautiful hazy amber with dense head and great lacing. Aroma of pine and resin with spice and earth overtones. Taste is moderate malt up front with a resin hops forward note, dank note in the middle and a resin finish with stronger dank notes. A ponderous and powerful IPA that is very enjoyable.

Pretty straightforward Rogue IPA, high on clingy bitterness and Pacman yeast esters, relatively tame with any other deep hop flavors. Some mild citrus offsets the massive swaths of Pacific Northwest pine, and the resin is countered by overripe apple from the yeast and caramel-biscuit malts. Decent yeast-pine nose--exactly what you expect from Rogue--and the pours a modestly hazed orange-gold with a beige head and mild lace. Creamy palate is nice as well. Not groundbreaking, but perfect for the occasional Pacman craving.

chinchill (4993) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 29, 2017
12 oz can with an 3 April 2017 canning date stamp on the bottom. Pours hazy, amber in color, with a creamy bone-colored head that leaves partial sheets of lacing on the glass and has decent retention. The aroma is evident in the pour: citrusy and grassy hops with faint herbal and smoke notes. The flavor follows but is a bit more dank. Moderate bitterness. Feel: medium body and lively medium carbonation.

Green can. Orange hazed with thin cap. Zesty aroma with pine. Maybe lemon, mint, grapefruit. Bit of caramel and toast malt. Same in taste with a stronger than aroma toast dry malt. Heavier on the pine, piney bitter. Citrus. Zesty. Good ipa.Good bitter.
