Smell great happy hop, caramel, floral. Come in clear deep amber color with thin white crown. Taste slightly bitter and carbonate, with well balanced hops and yeast. Slightly slimy. Good beer, straightforward hop ipa.

Bottle, Beer Guerilla. A smooth smacker of a beer. The hops are perfectly balanced and the malts are rich, slightly spicy. The mouthfeel and palate are beautiful, perfect levels of carbonation and the 1-finger off-white head retains very well.

Fruity, citrusy and piney all at once, with a strong malt undertone that I'm not so into. All in all its great ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.9
Darwenus (1136) - Virginia, USA - APR 7, 2017
This is a dense, brawling IPA that approaches beers like Palate Wrecker and RuinTen in terms of dankness, huge mouthfeel, and curb-stomping aroma. I’m amazed that the ABV is relatively low, given this beer’s forwardness. It pours dark, clear orange with thin foam. The aroma is pugnacious. The deeply bitter hop profile does not drown out the heaps of malt on the smell. The flavor is a giant blast of that aroma for the tongue, and the finish is very heavy and aggressive. This is a lot of hoppy anger to pack into a bottle with less than 8% ABV. Clinically speaking, Rogue has done something surprising here.

Bottle tasted on the 26/03/2017 at the Barcelona Beer Festival. Hazy golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, honey, malts and yeast. Taste is medium yeasty and hoppy with a malty finish. Not so hoppy aftertaste. Next one please!

Kita (2151) - Koper, SLOVENIA - MAR 25, 2017
Bottle, 0.355l. Clear deep amber color with thick frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of dandelion syrup, resin, caramel, dried fruit and honey. Taste starts with medium sweet toasted malt and caramel, follows by dried fruit and grass, mouthfeel is warming and mild spicy, while finish is pleasantly bitter with long aftertaste. Medium to full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Hoppy as hell, tasty to tell...

3/17/2016 at Rusty Bucket in West Chester, Ohio: Herbal and medicinal, but not really in a good way for my taste, drinks too sharp and hot and definitely one dimensional. Definitely not a beer for me at this time. May try it again in the future if the opportunity presents itself, but I don’t generally care for or seek out Rogue offerings.
