Bomber from LCBO served cold in a tulip glass. Cloudy orange-amber with a fluffy orange-hued head. The hops notes are hard to describe properly...sort of a eucalyptus/herbal/medicinal thing, licorice?, lightly peppery, rich caramel and toffee malt, brown sugar comes through, there is an odd broth note, maybe some pine. Medium+ body, moderate carbonation. Similar, enigmatic hop character, definitely some licorice/anis, light eucalyptus, rich malt support, lots of toffee and treacle, still a touch brothy; off-dry with fairly big bitterness and a long malty and odd hops finish. Those are 7 unique hopses!

Bottle from the LCBO. Bright copper-orange body with a very faint haze and a big, creamy white head. Candied orange peel and light pine notes in the aroma, with mild caramel backing it up. Flavour is well balanced, with the citrus peel hops building as it warms, but never getting too aggressive. Very nice IPA.

Citrus and pine waft up from the glass while the pour is in progress. The body is a murky, unfiltered orange, with a bubbly white head, but not a lot of it. Bitter citrus dances on the tongue, accompanied by bracing pine. There are non-sweet caramel malts running underneath it all as well. None of it is overkill (unless you are really averse to bitter beers) and it has a delicate balance to it all that really works for me. Glad I bought 3 bottles.

Light copper colour with a soft off-white head. Light citrus and rich malt nose. Another tasty IPA from Rogue, featuring a variety of hop accents - tropical fruit, citrus, pine and some orange. Subplots in the taste line include honey, biscuity malt and touch of pepper. a nice medium body and mid-range carbonation help bring out and sustain the taste.

Draught. Hazy amber beer with creamy head. Piney hop aroma, creamy toffy, a hint of raisins and dried peaches. Sturdy liquid bread malts, caramel, raisins. Medium resinous bitterness in the finish. Mouthfilling texture, malty but not very refreshing. Medium to full body, smooth texture. A bit heavy for me.

Tap. Small ivory head, some lace. Cloudy orange. Hoppy, fruity and malty bready aroma. Nice variery of hops balance each other. Plentyful taste with many citruses, filling maltyness. Dry and filling palate. Earthy, robust and philosophical. Excellent!

Wow. Wasnt expecting this in my glass. Pours cloudy copper gold with a nice pillow of off white head. Aroma is dank grapefruit and pine hops with a slight caramel sweetness from the malt. Taste is just great. Nice dank pine hop bitterness, not over the top. So well balanced with the sweetness from the malts Need to pick up some more.
