Bottled. More or less black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, mild coffee, some slight ashes as well as some toffee and sweet maltiness. Flavour is roasted malts, quite big on the bitter notes, mild ashes as well as some sweet malts to it. Quite nice bitter finish. Not your typical Schwarzbier, but still a pleasant brew.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours pretty close to black with a vague orange hue and a smallish beige head. Serious roasty nose, even a whiff of smoke. Medium body, bitter chocolate and heavy coffee roast. Not all that bitter, but the roast adds a massive almost coffeeish astringency. Loads of flavour for a Schwarzbier. 280712 omhper (24980) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 25, 2013
Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Very black, small beige head. Aroma of licorice and eucalypthus. Sweetish with clean rounded mouthfeel. Loads of treacle, bit sticky. Low bitterness. Heavily roasty, but shalow and rather mediocre malt profile. madmitch76 (24511) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 14, 2013

Opaque dark brown - black beer. Small dark tan head. Palate is light and dry. Dry dark malt, little cream. However the malt is over roasted making for an unpleasant burned flavour. Finishes tangy and dry.
Bottle at first DC tasting of 2010.
Black with an attractive dark brown head. Aroma of motor oil, cinnamon and burnt espresso. Flavor has lots of roasted malts, a background of smoke and ash, and a finish of burnt coffee. More body than your average schwarzbier. Complex and interesting.
