We made this braggot with our own marionberries, hops, barley, and honey. Situated across from 40 acres of Rogue hops, 119 Colonies of bees were carefully kept, fed, and smoked and the honey was uncapped, extracted, filtered and finally infused into a refreshing Marionberry Braggot.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2017 Reminds me of home in the Pacific Northwest! It has a syrupy sweet smell, but isn’t intensely sweet. Despite being 11.42% ABV it doesn’t have an overpowering alcohol taste. Very complex flavor and almost no head, folks from the Pacific Northwest will recognize the distinctive marrionberry flavor almost immediately. Another one of Rogue Farms finest and a must try for Pacific Northwesterners.

Bottle. Ruby red color, off-white head. Honey and alcohol aroma. Fruity flavor with notes of cherry pits. Medium-full body, medium carbonation. I think I prefer my own mead.

This was really lovely! A pleasant berry flavor but not oppressively so. It is very drinkable while still being complex.

From tap at Rogue Ales Public House, PDX airport. Aroma is strong sweet berries with caramel malt, honey, berry syrup. Flavour is heavy honey berry sweetness, bit cloying. A little boozy. Body is full. Rich warming nectar, very sweet but I like this.

Purpley Amber hue with a thin ivory cap. Nice honey covered berry nose that’s dark and juicy and warm. Sweet blackberries on the flavor with a big honey backbone that’s boozy and jammy. A bit one dimentional and cloying.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8069) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 10, 2017
Sampled from a bottle this poured a red-brown color with a medium sized foamy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with bread and dark fruit. The flavor was malty and bready with notes of tannin and dark berries. Long finish. Medium body. Interesting.
