Pours a cloudy orange/amber color with a dense yellowish head. The nose has a moderate, slightly sweet hop aroma with notes of grass, pineapple and orange peel. The taste starts with sweet caramel, grain, and wood. The end is huge with bitter citusy hops. Great bitter bite in the finish. Nicely balanced.

Tap. Pours cloudy amber with thin, creamy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is earthy hops, biscuit malt, figs, and spice. Flavor is light, sweet malt, heavy hops, and light fruit esters; dry, hoppy finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 2/29/12, Happy Leap Day - Breakout your Blue and Yellow.

Aroma: The nose is somewhat grassy, some pine and floral hops, and a little caramel and earth
Appearance: The pour is a hazy amber-orange color with a thick, foamy tan head and medium lacing
Flavor: This one has a light caramel, citrus sweetness, and a medium-heavy grassy/floral hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a fairly soft carbonation, and a long, fairly dry finish to it
Overall Impression: I enjoyed this one. It is a nice, fairly dry feeling, fresh hop offering. I also found it to be quite drinkable. I’ve now had a chance to try 3 of the beers from the Chatoe Rogue series, and I’ve quite enjoyed 2 of the 3.

bottle poured into a cheater pint. dark amber color, minimal head but gobs of lacing. caramel and pine wrap around the tounge. alcohol is surprisingly warming on a chilly summer night. a nice beer, perhaps one I will look for again perhaps on a cold dreary winter night.

Very thick and amber color. Taste is bazzarre and unlike many . Too thick. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

llcooldave (1226) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - FEB 3, 2012
Pours a cloudy rusty orange. Caramel citrus aroma along with some toffee and toasty malt. Flavor profile is a sweet orange citrus followed by a hoppy pine aftertaste. Overall, fairly drinkable but not that exciting to me. Almost bordering on an IPA in flavor and aroma.

Bomber from the Fridge, Lancaster. Pours a dark orange haze. Some nice spice coming through the hops. Unfortunately, a bit old tasting, for which I blame the Fridge, not Rogue. I would love to taste this fresh.
