Pours hazy copper with a large creamy head.
Nose shows cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves along with a soft but unmistakable pumpkin hit amongst sweet malty gingerbread notes.
More spices as flavours along with very subtle pumpkin, gingerbread and some herbal astringency. Wouldn’t mind a longer-lasting sweet malty finish. Nonetheless, very enjoyable stuff.
Nice creamy mouthfeel. Could be just a little thicker though. MetalNHopHead (1976) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - OCT 19, 2015
This is the year that finally made me stop saying that I dislike pumpkin beers. I guess I became a convert. Beers like Rogue’s Pumpkin Patch Ale are responsible. Fresh pumpkin is key, and Rogue Pumpkin Patch has loads of that. The spice notes from cinnamon and nutmeg fit wonderfully with the naturally creamy notes of the malt. Liquid pumpkin pie - yes, that deScription is cliche but it’s perfectly suited for this beer. Come on, humans. Let’s make a pact to continuing to make pumpkin brews like this one. lbianchi66 (396) - FRANCE - OCT 30, 2015
Robe orangée, légèrement opaque. Peu de mousse. Nez malté, citrouille et noix de muscade. Idem en bouche. Légère aigreur.
Longue en bouche.
Une très bonne pumpkin ale. mjmoen (534) - - OCT 14, 2016
B. Pours a clear copper color with white head. Spicy aroma and pumpkin spice beer Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle, LCBO. Late, but appreciated finding this one in Waterloo! Dark orange/brown with small bubbly head. Really nice pumpkin aroma - not all the spices, just pumpkin - solid. Great bottle too it should be mentioned. Taste - nicely balanced pumpkin over a lively medium body with some nice bitterness in the end from either hops or the roasted pumpkin or soemthing. Really easy to drink. A pumpkin with substance but not overwhelming, this may be my favorite one yet. Nicely done Rogue.

Nice aroma of spices, nutmeg and pumpkin; flavours of sweet malts, pumkin, slight citrus and lingering spices. Like a Southern Tier Pumpking.

Deep amber pour with a small off white head. Deep spice nose with brown sugar and light pumpkin. Med to full body with nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and light pumpkin. Sweet finish with caramel malt tones, spices and light citrus. superspak (5587) - Michigan, USA - JAN 9, 2013
750 ml bottle into signature shaker pint glass, 2012 bottling. Pours lightly hazy reddish copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of caramel, pumpkin, pear, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, toast, brown sugar, clove, brown bread, and herbal hops. Fantastic aromas with great balance and complexity of malt and spices. Taste of caramel, pumpkin, toast, ginger, pear, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, clove, brown bread, and herbal spiciness. Fair amount of spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, pumpkin, pear, toast, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, clove, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of flavors; with a nice malt/spiciness balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, slick, and foamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish, as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is a highly excellent pumpkin ale! Great balance and complexity of malt/spice flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A highly enjoyable pumpkin beer offering. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - FEB 4, 2013
Orange 750ml bottle. Deep copper color, light tan foam. Aroma of spice, squash, very delicate. Smells like a well spiced, pumpkin beer. Sweet malt, toasted grains, roasted squash, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin spices. A bit stronger than I expected. Hearty & full bodied. (3601) wildbeercat (356) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 18, 2013
25.4floz/750ml painted bottle into a weizen glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Spice, nutmeg, vanilla, and baked pumpkin. So nice!
Appearance: Hazy mahogany/brick (red/orange) body with a pretty thick, creamy, off-white head.
Taste: Spice, pumpkin, with secondary flavors of marshmallow and vanilla. Not cloying at all. Nice balance.
Palate: Medium-full body with a long, spiced finish.
Overall: Fantastic pumpkin brew. Well-rounded with lots of fun flavors.
