Pretty good. I don’t know what rye tastes like. It works though as a general all purpose style of session beer. cgarvieuk (24230) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 18, 2015

On keg at the Bow Bar.
Appearance - chestnut with some orange chinks. Nice head.
Nose - brown bread, light smoke. A hint of dried fruit.
Taste - big dried fruit cake thing. Lovely smoky backdrop.
Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish.
Overall - reminds me of Schlenkerla Fastenbier. Delicious. Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - APR 29, 2015
Bottle. Dark red brown pour with a big bubbly off white head. Caramel, raisin, rye, spice, lemon zest. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Sweet and spicy. Nice mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - APR 17, 2015
Digging this one. Mellow. Smooth. Surprisingly syrupy. Malty goodness -- recommended! Lagerboy (2189) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 12, 2015
Bomber. Clear darker amber brown, lasting firm creamy tan foam. Promising aroma of smoky caramel with a whiff of spicy rye. Taste is somewhat bland, toasted sweet caramel malts, some mild rye, flat cola finish. Soft carbonation, light-medium bodied, low hopped. Disappointing.
