Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and caramel and floral, Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. Wood, cherry, and rye malt aroma. Dark brown with moderate head. Smoky sweet toffee and rye malt flavor. Nice. BVery (11241) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - APR 16, 2013
Tap at Happy Gnome. Murky amber pour with a white head. Pretty bland and thin overall - a little rye in here but otherwise kind of empty. Not bad, just not interesting. faroeviking (11119) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 14, 2013

Thx! To Antoine. Sampler draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Apparently all ingredients were grown @ there own farms. Pours dark brown with an off-white beige head. Nose is sweet metallic, herbs, black bread, bitter herbs, rather off-putting honestly. Taste is sweet black bread, rye, herbal, metallic, black liquorish, caramel, dried fruits, grains, spices, light smoke,… Sticky body,… No, this is not particularly enjoyable. Good for them to have farms and everything. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Bottle @ Ratman’s. Thanks you, Ratman! Pours a hazy brown appearance with a cream colored head. Quite spicy rye, caramel, piney, bready, light fruity aroma. Fairly spicy, bready, a bit husky, somewhat citrusy flavor. A little disappointing. DuffMan (10609) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 4, 2013
Bottle. Beautiful hazy amber with a red-orange hue and a thick, lasting beige head that leaves sheets and sheets of lace all the way down the glass. Initial aroma is actually a little stinky, then more bready grain and lightly spicy citrus. The palate showcases the spiciness of rye malt perhaps better than any other rye beer I’ve had; really lovely malt profile, smooth, with just the faintest smokiness, and a light kiss of hops. Paired perfectly with our spicy dinner of pho. marcus (10575) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours dark brown with a rich beige head and a roasted chocolate aroma. There is a hearty rye malt flavor with bitter smoky finish. olio (10469) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 21, 2014
65 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours clear dark copper color with a small head. Quite weird on the nose, some dark berries, rye, caramel malts, mild grain and faint hops. Flavor is fruity and there’s a lot of carbonation, gooseberries, malts, rye, some toffee and more malts. Very lively carbonated palate, feels quite light considering the abv. Somewhat unique. Lacks something essential though.
