Tap in Newport, OR. Belgian-style blond ale. Some wheat and malts with a touch of spice. AKA 'Mo Ale'. erway (1004) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - OCT 19, 2002
Very cloudy and instantly smell the corriander and ginger. Interesting name for a belgian wheat. Didn't need a lemon at all. The finest American made wheat. Extremely refreshing, medium-bodied and delicious. JoeM500 (1908) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - SEP 30, 2002
This Rogue ale also seems to have a bigger bark than bite. Nice unfiltered cloudiness, and spicy, gingery nose. The taste was light and earthy with the ginger making itself the most immediately recognized flavor. One of the lightest wheat beers I have had. jaymobrown (1845) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 29, 2002
A cloudy orange, tangerine look. Corriander, orange nose. A nice mix of wheat, lemon, and spice. Not one of my favorite Rogues but still good. herbstress3 (221) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - SEP 25, 2002
Great bitey aftertaste. Doesn't disappear or linger.. just right............

A solid beer but because it's a Rogue I know it could do more. Quenching and drinkable but I know it could do more. A light palate but okay for style, a bit tangy flavor, and appearance is a little clear for style... mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 18, 2002
half weizen. I'm assuming the spices make this a half wit(ha ha). pours hazy yellow. the pacman yeast prevents the customary exploding head. sweetish malt, tart wheat. good spice flavours coming from the ginger and coriander. a rogue amount of hops. quite tasty. As much as I love Rogue - I have to give this one lower than usual ratings - the aroma reminds me of sweaty feet - thank God it doesn't taste like that! The appearance is not as cloudy as a wheat should be. Makes up for it with a smooth finish and a tart bite. I'll try again sometime - maybe I got a bad bottle. it seemed hoppy to me. extremely yeasty and interesting but not really my style. very peppery. Aurelius (5492) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 23, 2002
Despite the deep hazy amber beer with the nice foam, I'm going to have to ding the appearance for the scary bluehair painted onto the bottle. Zippy, peppery butter aroma. Ginger stands out, though this tastes a lot like a wit to me. Stiff meringue foam. Craamy palate, cood carbonation.
