A hazy amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of wood, leading to a dry end. I find the flavor quite boring. joergen (28971) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2006

Bottled. Brownish amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma of caramel, candy sugar, toffee and alcohol. Flavour is plum, grass, alcohol, caramel, some flowery hops and sugar. Quite much in it, and also very wellbalanced. Travlr (25821) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 7, 2009
Tastes like licking the insides of a jar of Nutella. Suspicious of added hazelnut elixir. cgarvieuk (25728) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 2, 2007
Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting ... Yeasty malty with load and loads of Hazelnuts (i was told it was nut brown , so clearly identifable hazelnuts without knowing) little bit bitter in linger for my liking but still wonderfully rounded. omhper (25563) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 21, 2004
Bottled. Dark ruby, average head. Nutty aroma -very aromatic. Sweet and roasty with lots of vanilla and hazelnut as well as chocolate. Clean, somewhat hard mouthfeel. Pleasant, but one-dimensional, and suffering from the same syndrome that keeps many US microbrews to enter my list of top beers: simplistic, hard, clean malt character. madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2009
18th June 2008. Dark brown beer. Starts with a crisp dry fizz then morphs seamlessly in a chocolate and hazlenut smooth finish. Lovely!
