On tap at Hops & Pie. Black appearance with a lingering tan head. Aroma of cocoa, bitter chocolate, nutty malts, bread, mild earth and light caramel/toffee. Similar flavor, rich, dark and malty with a pleasant bittersweet balance. Medium body with a slight dry feel and a lasting finish. Pretty tasty overall. 650ml bottle from Woodmans in Waukesha. Very dark brown pour with little head. As described, solid chocolate/hazelnut mix. Well blended together. Super smooth. Medium bodied or a touch more. Little alcohol presence. Nice flavor blend and actually never got too sweet. 13.8 Aurelius (5590) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 5, 2017
Soft, toasted hazelnut aroma up front with cocoa undertones. Good painted bomber. Dark brown pour, tall head in a weizen glass with a busy cascade. Roast, toasted nuts, baker's cocoa, tannic, not sweet, not aggressively bitter. That's it, I got nothing further to say about the flavor. Medium body, decent carbo retention. This wasn't as decadent as I expected, nor was it as good as I expected. Publix, Bradfordville. commonshawn (1335) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 3, 2017
Tap at hopcat with commonmac and samalito. Near black with medium tan head. Nutty chocolate nose. Sweet, rich. Very good. Medium full body . AgentAle (1817) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 30, 2017
Aroma is a barrage of chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut and caramel. Taste is an almost chewy palette of deep malts, chocolate syrup and coacoa nibs. Super rich, almost a meal.

Pours dark and rich looking with a head that looks like whipped egg whites but the color of light coffee. Rich flavor. Lots of chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and caramel. Enough bitterness to cut the sweet flavors though, which is nice. Rich and creamy in the mouth without being overly syrupy. gregwilsonstl (2692) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 13, 2017
Been so long since Ive had some Rogue, they used to be my go to but I just dont seem them on the shelves in STL much anymore. This is what it says it is, Hazelnut + Chocolate. It's a thin nutella. Very tasty, and seems to thicken as it warms. Block (3182) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - NOV 12, 2017
Tasted at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises. obguthr (6740) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 10, 2017
