3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
I thought this was a pretty interesting ale. I had a love affair with gin, that I had to give up, so I was interested to see what the Juniper berries would bring to the mix. Very subtle. Good brew..

Poured a nice cloudy gold with a good head dissipates quickly but remains as a fine partial layer.
Smell is malty with citrus notes.
Taste is malt and more of the citrus. For me, it's a nice taste that I've enjoyed many times before and I'll have again without a whim. Good pale ale. k_gadeberg (198) - Århus, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2017

Pours orange, with a nice white top.
It's clearly a pale ale, it's a little watery, but it's a quite nice aftertaste. Small notes of berries, but nothing like an IPA.
Weak scent of hops.

Not a bad beer. Aroma is heavy juniper, but not much beyond that. Pours yellowish brown and has a dense citrus backbone. Grumbo (3952) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2017

Drunk at the King and Co Clapham in glass from draft, copper appearance, pleasant nose botanic and fruit. Great summer beer!

Aus der Flasche getrunken (Händlerlieferung). Sattes Amber mit weißem Schaum. In der Nase relativ zurückhaltend. Nicht schlecht, aber kein Spitzenbier. KeefOz (1913) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JUN 4, 2017
Poured a hazy honey-brown with a 5mm light tan sudsy head that diminished slowly to a blotchy cap that laced poorly. Carbonation moderate, slow and coarse. Aroma of slight tartness and possibly honey; not inviting. Taste starts with slight sweetness followed by moderately strong tartness. Light body. Smooth with slight spicy tartness on a short finish. Copenhagen 24/5. 2017. 35,5 cl bottle from Skjold Burne. Lumberjack with a mug of beer on the label. Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. No Lacing. Strong aroma of Juniper with weak notes of citrus. Vegetables with herbal bitterness. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by herbal bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Reminds me of a more sweet version of some of the New Nordic Beers where they put herbs from half a Plantation into the boilers. Not my favorite Rogue.
Wuchtiger Antrunk. Tannenhonig, Säure, Wacholder. Kanntig und trotzdem rund. Ein besonderes Bier.
