3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Saucer. Hazy, strong floral nose. Hops are strong, but w/ min. bitterness. Very taste & crisp. The most hopped out "pilsner" I’ve ever had, good thou.
On tap with Joe, pours a hazy bright light orange color. Small amt of head and lacing. Aroma is sweet honey, hay malts, and lemon. Taste is lemons, bitter hops, pilsener malts. Aftertaste is very corny and malty. PorterPounder (7967) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at Fermentation Lounge - dark golden pour, fluffy white head. Aroma - initial impression was of urine and could not get that out of my head - so I am going with that....sorry. Flavor is malt oriented with some doughy bready notes, some hints of honey sweetness, a bit of buttery notes; some background grainy notes. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Not one of my favorite Rogues. drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - OCT 1, 2011
10/1/11. On tap. Slightly hazy orange/yellow pour with a frothy white head that sticks and laces plenty. Definitely grainy aroma of pilsner malt and a touch of orange peel. Bold, bitter flavor that borders on tannic and astringent. Tart citrus flavors, pils malt, and bitter grassy hops. Not bad. Drake (13735) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA, on 5/29/11. Pours a clear lemon yellow color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of grainy malts, grass hops and a bit of corn. The taste is grassy hops, apples, caramel and lightly toasted malts. Medium bodied. Meh.

On tap at flying saucer Houston. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a nice light pine and grass note backed by crisp lager yeast and hay. Flavor starts floral hop note with a bit of backing bread and a bitter finish driven by pine notes.

Hazy golden appearance with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly grassy with a touch of hay. Flavor is fairly hoppy, with a bit of bitter aftertaste. One of the hoppier pilsners I’ve had, doesn’t have the clean finish you would typically look for but I like it. Overall, average to above average pilsner, depending on your tolerance for some bitterness. Matts_Property (837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 10, 2011
Sampled at SIB. Pours a translucent pale yellow with a thin white lacing. Aroma of Pilsner hops, wheat, hay and grass. Flavour similar to aroma but includes some cereal. A light beer, and a little thin. mcberko (17823) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 4, 2011
Sampled on tap at SIB, pours somewhat hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light pilsner-hops, wheat, hay and cereal. Flavour of refreshing hops, with a nice bitter pilsner-like bite on the finish. Decent pilsner. Alphadelic (2237) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 28, 2011
Super pale, super nice lager with plenty of cereal delight. Nice peppery bitterness. jcr (2705) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUN 26, 2011
Draft at Rich O’s. Golden body with a white frothy head, rapidly diminishing. Grainy nose with notes of hay, cracker, lemon with a touch of pine. The flavor is light to moderately sweet and light to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, smooth texture, moderate carbonation. Plenty of hop in the taste, but the hops and malts seem at odds leaving an off flavor in the finish. A thick pils that is unnecessarily overly bitter.
