22oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of grains, pale malts, light herbal hops, and a hint of diacetyl. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, fizzy, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of pale malts, hops, vegetables, and herbs. Light to medium body. Thin, lightly dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Pale malt, diacetyl, and herbal hop finish. Tastes like more of a kolsch than an Oktoberfest/Marzen.

Sampled at Blacklick Wine and Spirits weekly tasting. The nose on this was floral and grainy.A medium mouthfeel.Definately a lager feel. The right blend of malts and hops.Nothing to impressive stood out here.Fiished off slightly sweet.

Sampled at the imports tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 8/13/09. Pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Floral and somewhat malty aroma with lager yeast and lightly crisp hops. Malty flavor with some yeast and a crisp and light hop finish. Not robust like you would expect an o-fest to be. Matter of fact, based on the name I thought it was intended to be a light May beer and that they were we-todd-ed for coming out with it now, but I read up on it and realized the brewmaster named it after himself. Clever, but not when your name is similar to another month in German. Either way, average beer.

Sampled at tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits. This one was a little odd to be honest. The title doesnt neccessarily fit the flavor. Pretty swee aroma of bread and sugars up frong. Strange lingering aftertaste that I could not quite place. Kept it from being good.
