Brilliant golden color. A slight chill gave my taster a really pleasant quality on a blistering hot day. Really refreshing, but fairly forgettable. Had on tap at Lansdale Beer Fest. Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 30, 2012
Originally reviewed: 11/2/11. A friend brought this over to the house last weekend for our annual pumpkin-carving-beer-tasting party. Split and poured into a mug.
This beer pours a dark amber/orange with a thick bone-white head on top. A fair amount of lace left behind after each sip. The nose is sweet with caramel, pale fruits, and faint floral tones. Good body as the carbonation bulks this up a bit. Moderate chew to it. Sweet caramel malty flavors start things out, but then a refreshing hoppy bite closes it out. I like that interplay with the hops. Nice refreshing Marzen that I will gladly have again. Thanks, Jared! Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - APR 27, 2012
Finally decided to pick this one up on a lager-rush. The nose was full of toffee and yeast with loads of honey and bread notes. The taste followed - lots of malts and toffee with a dry finish. Hops are in the aftertaste for a crisp overall palate. Perdy’ good but not a prime example of a Marzen by far. Boliv (1150) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 16, 2012
Bomber, courtesy of Dad, shared with my brother. Pours dark yellow and gold with hints of red, with a 2-finger white head. Aromas of sweet wheat, grass, and raisin; light malty fruitiness throughout. The flavor is sweet, with plenty of sugary caramel and red fruit, and light grassy bitterness. Pretty drinkable. Finhead (1741) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - APR 4, 2012
A hazy, yellow-orange pour with a thin white head. The aroma is fairly mild with some faint bread and orange. The light body has a thin texture with average carbonation. The taste falls more on the sweet side and has a semi-dry finish.

This Märzen pours a hazy deep gold to amber color. The nose is very malty with toffee and a little citrus. The Taste starts with Biscuity malt, toast and hard toffee flavors and ends with moderate citus/floral bitterness. Slightly warming alcohol in the finish. not impressed with this beer at all. very little to the aromas and not much more in the flavors. bland taste of berries and old honey. scarletfire65 (1454) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Tasted at NYC Craft Beer Festival. Crystal clear amber. Aroma is citrus and grain. Tastes of stale roasted corn, some citrus, not much, harsh lager finish. AirForceHops (7129) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 19, 2012
$5.49 @ Gary’s beverage, Portsmouth, NH. No born on date or ABV printed anywhere on label. Nice gold color with soft carbonation in a lager glass. Minimal head or lace. Aroma of grass and sweet malt. Taste has malts that are sweet but not overwhelming. In the finish you get a German/ Euro hop bitterness that makes it a nicely balanced. Medium body. Has a nice, smooth/creamy mouthfeel with a short crisp finish. This was want I was thirsting for and it met my expectations. Nice Fest brew. Pours copper with a tan head. Aroma is caramel, bread and grass. Taste is sweet with minimal bitters rounding out the finish. Medium mouthfeel and very smooth. Solid.
