Surprising hop boquet with a very subtle roast aroma. Very sexy dark color. And the Mocha/Roast aftertaste is delicious. A little too aggresive on the IBUs the lingering bitterness is somewhat distracting. A fine example of American Porter. And the intitial hop effect melting into traditional acridity of a porter is a neat trick they came up with. I enjoy this brew.

Smells like mocah and dark chocolate. Very nice in appearance. Mocha is also noticeable in the flavoring. Sweet but not too much, a great beer. It does get just slightly too thick and bittersweet on the aftertaste.

650ml bottle. Dark brown, black colour, roasted malts, chocolate, slightly grainy feel in the mouth with more tart roasted choc malts on end. Not overly interesting but it does what it says on the tin

A deep dark brown with a thick frothy head that is mostly lasting. A strong coffee and chocolate aroma. A full bodied porter with characteristics of coffee with a hint of chocolate.

Dark dark brown color with uneven settling thick brown head. Strong chocolate aroma, with bread and slight sourness. Milk chocolate in flavor with some sweetness mixed with a bit of roasty dryness. Thick mouthfeel. Yum.

Great flavor. The most noteworthy attribute of this beer is the initial hop taste that trails cleanly into a bitter chocolate after taste. Not the best mouthfeel or aroma, but it looks and tastes nice enough.

Sometimes a tough decision when Im looking at the shelf and this is next to the chocolate stout. What I like about this one is that its not quite as big as the stout. Very nice porter.

High quality malts are used giving this beer predominant chocolate and nut flavors, but a somewhat adequate level of porter-style bitter hoppiness is maintained. Aroma is hoppy and nutty, typical for the style, perhaps somewhat faint. Very dark appearance, almost black; short, dark tan head. Translucent mouthfeel. Rather heavy finish but one or two of these before a meal would be nice.

Not a very complex beer but still enjoyable. Black with biege head, nutty aroma. Nice full bodied palate with bittersweet and roasty chocolate taste. Very dry. Started tasting very skunky towards the end, so I docked it a couple points.
