Nothing really impressed me here. Dark in the glass with a small tan head. Aroma is light. Flavor is that of heavy roasted malt. Body was watery. I left half of the bottle on the table and walked away sadly.

Nice dark color and decent head. Very good balance of malt and hop but not over powering. Good finish a very nice drinking beer.

Bomber. Dark brown w/ light tan head. Nice lacing. Nose is smokey and chocolatey. Thin body w/ water, coffee, chocolate.

12 oz. bottle. Pours dark brown with a very attractive head that eventually cascades away. Some mocha is detectable in the nose. Smooth palate with only light carbonation. Flavor reminds me of chocolate covered espresso beans, but not as sweet. Also some hops, especially in the finish.

Poured black with a reddish tint around the edges. Beer had light wisps of caramel colored head. Aroma and flavor were similar to a weak imperial stout... similar roastiness and a good western hoppy presence. Aroma picked up a lot of chocolate, some espresso, and grapefruit... very pleasant and well-balanced. Flavor picked up all of the aroma, but also just a hint of raspberries. Finish had some hoppy bitterness along with the mocha. Very well done!

12 oz. bottle. a rather unimpressive porter. black with a tan head that quickly fades to a tiny ring around the rim of the snifter glass. rosted malt flavors and some hop bitterness on the tail. nothing special here folks, next.

Opaque dark color, with a shy tan-colored head, fruity, sweet chocolate note, expresso coffee and mocha accent, roasted malt in the nose, follows through on a medium-bodied palate with roasted malt, roasted coffee beans, , leading to a dark coffee bitterness on the finish.

Deep brown pour with a generous head. Toasted malt and mocha aroma as promised. Unexpectedly light feel in the palate bouyed by the carbonation. Dark malt and coffee/cocoa tones throughout taste and nice simmering hop finish. Great porter on the lighter end of the scale. And thanks to the beer gods for allowing Rogue distribution in my area.
