Pitch black color with small, quickly dissipating tan head. Nose is loads of coffee, also chocolate and dried prunes. Taste is mildly bitter. Coffee, burnt bread, roasted malts and hops. Alcohol presence is hidden. Medium body, oily texture, low to medium carbonation. Mildly bitter finish. Very good.

5,3%. Svart med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter kaffe og kakaopulver, så den er innafor når det gjelder moccanavnet så langt. Noe havre, mørk sjokolade og mørk frukt er også der i lukten. Jada mocca også i smak. Noe salt lakris, spesielt i slutten. Kaffe, kakaobønner og mørk sjokolade. Noe korn, nøtter og toast. Middels lang.

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, chocolate, mocha, molasses, bread, roasted malts and coffee.

Appearance:
Opaque black beer with a medium beige/brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, chocolate, mocha and molasses; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, roasted malts and coffee.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Greatly drinkable for its abv and the added coffee creates a complex and balanced flavour. The aroma could have been stronger, but the appearance is amazing.

Chocolate, cocoa, coffee with nice dark bread and some cookies. There is some roastiness in the end. Pretty dry, drinkable, medium carbonation. I would call it session beer, would drink a pint, or six.
