Bottle from Uba ja Humal in Tallinn ( 3.90). BB 08.2016. 5.3%. Pours medium dark brown with a thick beige head that retains and laces nicely. The aroma is that of roasted malts and bitter chocolate, hints of coffee and cake. Its quite interesting, not among the most usual Porter aromas. Tastes quite differently, very roasty with a lot of coffee and/or really dark chocolate bitterness... Possibly the most chocolate bitter Porter Ive had. Pretty thin mouthfeel, carbonation thin as well, but at least with a bit of activity. Nice roasty dryness. A good easy drinker, and above average interesting brew.

Uit de fles geschonken. Mooi zwart bier.

Light brown, tall, compact and staying head. Light body, thin texture, aggressive flavors, flabby mouthfeel, low acidity, heat and moderate carbonation, short palate leaving an arid and watery aftertaste. Very bitter and dry, almost sour acidity. Overwhelming roast flavors, coffee, Reminiscent of an Irish dry stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, medium stable bubbly head, opaque black color, aroma of cola and dark bread, flavor of dark chocolate, charcoal and a hint of vanila. Medium mellow bitterness. Fair and highly drinkable.

Dark brown color with ruby reflections. One to two fingers beige very inconsistent head. In aroma notes of: dark bread, roasted cake, sweet matls, bit of cherry and plums. Rather sweet, quite pleasant. In taste its completely different. All this sweet notes are now gone. Its much more roasted and toasted. Has a touch of coffee and bitter chocolate. It can really reminds of mocha. Nice bitter finish in the aftertaste. Its slightly over carbonated and I was expecting just a bit more thick and full mouthfeel. In overall its a very pleasant Saturday afternoon beer.

Pours a dark murky brown. About two fingers frothy, foamy head, like a mocha. Okay head retention, okay lacing.

Aroma is chocolatey, not so much coffee. I smell a lot of raisins and plums. I also smell, almonds? Quite nice.

Taste is lightly chocolate, light instant coffee flavor. I taste some of the dark fruits, not much. It has some roastiness from the malts. Some bitterness, but really pretty well balanced. Its pretty smooth.

Mouthfeel is medium body. Perhaps too much carbonation. But its smooth, easy to drink. Quite dry.

Overall, its good. I like it. Its worthy of another try. Its a little disappointing in the mocha taste, not there. Its a little different, but good.

Drank with Thierry 18-2-2016 at my place. Pretty fine taste for such a low ABV beer. Okay.

Bottle. A- Subtle iron, chocolate, malty, mocha, dates, caramel. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Dark fruits, subtle mocha, chocolate, slightly sweet. P- Medium body, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, slightly watery finish. O- An interesting porter no doubt. Assumed it would be loaded with chocolate and coffee. Chocolate, yes. Coffee, not so much. More of a dark fruit and caramel tone to it. Pretty good albeit a bit thin on the body.
