Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, chocolate, mocha, molasses, bread, roasted malts and coffee.

Appearance:
Opaque black beer with a medium beige/brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, chocolate, mocha and molasses; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, roasted malts and coffee.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Greatly drinkable for its abv and the added coffee creates a complex and balanced flavour. The aroma could have been stronger, but the appearance is amazing.

Chocolate, cocoa, coffee with nice dark bread and some cookies. There is some roastiness in the end. Pretty dry, drinkable, medium carbonation. I would call it session beer, would drink a pint, or six.

Aroma a café, chocolatón y malta tostada. Mejor tomarla a temperatura ambiente, mejora mucho.

Blueshawk (465) - Bad Bellingen, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2016

330ml bottle at Rankweiler Hof, courtesy of goflo. Aroma is light toffee, coffee and a bit chocolate. Appearance is dark brown with a brown-ish foam. Taste is bitter and very light sweet. Dry. A bit thin. Good.
