Nice appearance in the glass. Chewy texture, slight chocolate, coffee beans and mocha laced with prune. Finish was a little creamy as forecasted. Was a bit disappointed in this one given the brewer is consistenly one of my favorites - I hope Rogue will begin to focus a little more on quality versus quanity in the near future. Id honestly still prefer a Fullers or Sammy Smiths Taddy Porter.

Great porter. All flavors of chocolate, coffee and malty are evenly balanced. Great finish, maybe I have a good batch based on other posts.

Dark brown/red with a thick frothy tan colour head. Coffee & nuts aroma. Flavours are coffee, nuts, some smokeyness and chocolate, medium body. Very creamy mouthfeel with a fairly bitter & acidic finish.

Bottle - Pours a pretty dark brown...almost black - Nose is chocolate, coffee and roasted malts - Tounge is a medium to full body with a moderate carbonation - Taste is burnt chocolate and coffee with a slight hop bitterness ... Not my favorite porter but damn good... !

Small head dark in colour with strong mocha aroma followed with a nice mocha taste but not too overpowering.

Pours a rich dark brown. Rich coffee aromas fill the air. Mild hoppy flavor. Not much of a chocolatte flavor as would be expected due to the name. A very tasty beer over all.

dark opague brown with a minimal reddish hue, big-bubbled tan head. very little aroma, some chocolatety roastiness. roasty malty flavours, little chocolate and maybe some coffee. medium body, appropriate carbonation, medium bitterness. more like a sweet stout than a porter, me thinks. alright, certainly not great.

Pours a smooth, creamy head that lasts as long as you please with equally lasting lacing over a very, very dark reddish brown body. Aroma is pine and dough. Taste is light sweetness, lightly sour, and medium bitterness. Palate is light body, thin feel, fizzy, bitter, fairly long finish, Overall, this beer is poor.
